Amazing Quotes from The Amazing Spider Man 2

I just watched The Amazing Spider Man 2 yesterday. It was entertaining 142 minutes show from the movie. As I thought, Spider Man would not merely about plenty of amazing action - spider web, kisses, stunning special effects, and multitude of villains - but it also presented a good story with inspiration and lessons.

Below are some of the quotes from the movie which I find inspiring:
1.   “You’re not a nobody. You’re somebody.”
It’s said by the Spider Man when to an electrical engineer of Oscorp on the street right after he saved him. Sometimes we never think we are nobody until someone recognizes ourselves as somebody. But how other people will recognize us if we do not reckon ourselves as somebody special?

2.   “What makes life valuable is it doesn’t last for forever. What makes it precious is it ends.”
It’s one of the lines from Gwen’s graduation speech. As many of us consider that we will live longer and die at an old age, we always forget to live our life to the fullest; to make it valuable as soon as we have a chance. Everyone wants to have a precious ending, but many of us forget to prepare the precious one since the very beginning.

3.   “The heavier the box the lighter I feel.”
It’s what Aunt May told to Peter when she packed some stuffs of Uncle Ben. It’s a learning to let go. Past memory isn’t meant to be forgotten, but isn’t supposed to haunt us as well at the present time and withstand us from moving on. The more we can let go, the more we can express gratitude.

4.    “Don’t just follow the path. Make your own trail.”
There are many paths in front of us as that people have taken. It may bring success if we take the same way, but there’s always a risk that it might not work well for us. If none of the paths work for us, why not to create our own trail?

5.  “Change begins with hard work and persistence.”
I bet it’s the philosophy of Osborn stated by Harry’s father in the movie. It’s commonsensical that there will never be any change without action, hard work, and persistence. And, a big change also always begins from a persistent small change.

6.  “Maybe everyone has a part of themselves they hide, even from the people they love.”
Some people do and some people do not. But there’s always a time when we want keep something just for ourselves or just because we do not want to hurt people. Or, as nobody can be trusted, so better to trust our heart to keep it.

7. “Every day I wake up knowing that the more people I try to save, the more enemies I will make. And it's just a mtter of time before I face those with more power than I can overcome".”

8. "Not everyone has a happy ending"

It’s true that not everyone has a happy ending. There’s no guarantee that our life will end as we expected. But those who strive for a wonderful ending will likely get a bigger chance to have a wonderful ending than those who just expect a miracle for a happy ending. So, let’s define our happy ending and work for that.
